Nature’s Sunshine Merchandise has formally transformed its Spanish Fork manufacturing facility, which manufactures the vast majority of the corporate’s natural dietary supplements, to an infrastructure that’s powered by 100% photo voltaic power.
With this announcement, the corporate made important strides to satisfy its ESG purpose to transition its owned manufacturing amenities to 100% renewable power sources by 2023. The change to photo voltaic power can also be a transfer towards reaching different ESG objectives, together with the discount of greenhouse gasoline emissions by 50% by 2025, zero waste to landfill by 2025 at U.S. distribution facilities, and a 33% waste discount at manufacturing amenities by 2025.
