Coway Builds Photo voltaic Energy Plant in South Korea


Coway Co. will start building of a solar energy plant in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on the roof of iOBED, the corporate’s subsidiary, in early 2023. This new plant is estimated to supply an annual capability of 800 KWh and can play an essential position in Coway’s ESG initiatives, which search to attenuate the detrimental environmental impacts of the corporate’s operations and reinforce its sustainability efforts. 

Coway already operates three solar energy vegetation at its factories and distribution heart. 

“We anticipate to cut back GHG emissions by 470 tons yearly by way of our new solar energy vegetation,” stated a Coway official in an announcement. “That is a part of our ESG initiative that we’re devoted to fulfilling according to duty as an environmentally-friendly firm.”
