Google Search appears to be testing a brand new “trending subjects” part for some information queries in Google Search on cell. This Trending Subjects part permits you to toggle and refine your question by subjects, akin to climate, crime, sports activities, politics, or different trending information classes for that question.
This was noticed by Saad AK on Twitter who shared a video of this in motion, here’s a display seize adopted by the video:

I noticed a “Trending Subjects” part in Information Tab with a filter navigation; which included a number of entities associated to the search question.

I personally can not replicate this but, but it surely does make sense as a further question refinement possibility and might be helpful to searchers.
