Mary Kay Accomplishes Vital Sustainability Initiatives in First Half of 2022 


Mary Kay launched a listing of the sustainability-focused milestones and missions the corporate has achieved thus far in 2022. Included in these sustainability and ESG accomplishments have been: 

  • The manufacturing of a brief movie documentary in partnership with The Nature Conservancy that was written, directed and produced by an all-female staff. Forest of Hope chronicles the efforts of 71-year-old Doña Angelica as she leads an ecosystem-focused staff in Mexico. 
  • On a panel titled “Investing in Girls Entrepreneurs to Deal with Local weather Change,” Mary Kay Chief Working Officer Deborah Gibbins referred to as on the personal and public sectors to affix the Girls’s Entrepreneurship Accelerator (WEA) because it catalyzes girls’s entrepreneurship. 
  • Session with the governments of the Netherlands and Tajikistan to outline the position of the personal sector within the Water Motion Agenda, a non-negotiated consequence doc that submits commitments to be offered through the 2023 UN Water Convention 
  • Participation in a panel referred to as “Making Waves: Girls in Water Conservation” that targeted on girls leaders everywhere in the world working to revive the well being of the world’s oceans 
  • Rating #91 on the Function Energy Index, the most important research ever carried out measuring perceptions of brand name objective 
  • Persevering with the corporate’s journey of being solely reliant on renewable vitality. These initiatives, begun within the Eighties, culminated in Mary Kay’s world headquarters and world manufacturing facility being powered by 100% renewable vitality in 2014.
